Kelly Rowland's CRACKLIN'-HOTT Shoot For Wonderland Magazine

Check out Kelly Rowland's black-and-white photos for Wonderland Magazine (London). These photos were found on several sites, meaning there's a lot of people diggin' these pics. Check out Kelly's interesting HAIRY outfit (looks like a beautiful, giant.... WEAVE she's swathed in with leopard underwear peeking underneath).

Don't matter-- the outfit, her priceless emotions, bone structure, and the lighting in these photos are all GOOD.

It's interesting to me how musicians/performers can also pass for MODELS...

The Beautiful RIHANNA Spotted Out In Newer, Bolder Red Hairstyle

This is why I like Rihanna.

Not just for her music; it's the way she captures attention, knowing that the more often she changes her hair which is in the same hue, the more people can't help but to look at it. For example, I can't help but to look at her style sense.

It looks like something that she just put on in the spur of the moment but I guess from a fashionista standpoint, it's cleverly put together. Take into account of all the hues she has. Who says that one has to MATCH and look good? It's all about HOW one puts an outfit together.

Look at the red hair, black mini-dress, and nude Prada heels. It's placed together so innocently yet it's still clever. I wonder how she will appear (what she will wear) at her LOUD concerts.

Stylish First Lady Michelle Obama Is Cool and Forward-Thinking; Invites Common To Perform At White House

Some people just FELL OUT at the notion of Common performing at the White House. In my opinion (which is close to a fact), this world is changing and these old-thinking people need to get with the program. It's OK to critique a person, but not good for someone to be generally set into their own ways, not giving anyone a chance (just as long as that new 'chance' is not destructive to livelihood).

Of course people criticized Michelle Obama for promoting a man whose lyrics included 'cop killing' (which would fall in line as 'destructive') but I guess Obama took it as an art, not an action. See what she said below:

“We had a poetry session and we invited young kids in just last week from all over the country. And they talked to some of the most outstanding poets, and they read their poetry in the state room. And then we had a poetry night and Common was there. He’s very cute. But everybody from poet laureates to hip-hop folks, being able to mix up the world in that very interesting way, the White House allows you to do that.”

10:38pm

It's 10:38pm on a Thursday and I'm sitting under my heat cap...deep conditioning and watching Snapped. I decided around 9pm that I had to wash my hair TONIGHT! I wasn't going to go to bed with a dirty head of hair. Fortunately, I am not straightening it so I will be able to get into the bed at a decent hour.

But that's not what this post is about.

As you guys know, my hair has grown quite a bit during my journey. However, from time to time I find myself doing the same things I did when I first cut my hair. This was really, really evident when I would wash and condition my hair. Now when my hair was shorter, I never had to worry about product (shampoo, conditioner, etc.) getting onto all of my hair. I mean, how could it not? It was all very no fuss, no muss back then. :sigh:

Well, I have been following the same washing procedure. I didn't section anything off. I just washed.......and apparently I can't do that anymore lol. For awhile, there have been parts of my hair that is OMG amazing! Soft, lush, and all that good stuff. Then, there are other parts that just feel....eh. It's not super duper dry but it's not make you slap your mama soft either-it's just there. So, after doing an intensive search (well, not really intensive. I just used the search function on LHCF) I figured that I have to start washing my hair in sections. That way I can ensure that all of my hair gets the product that it needs. This is what I've been doing:

1) I section my hair into four (4) braids before getting into the shower
2) Once in the shower, I unbraid one (1) section, wet it, finger comb it a bit, and apply shampoo. Once finished, I rebraid that section.
3) Repeat for the other sections (**)
4) Once all sections have been shampooed, I proceed to rinse the shampoo out section by section and rebraid each section once the shampoo is washed out.

**I let the shampoo sit on my hair for at least 5 minutes. I don't know what the science is but I find that sulfate free shampoos work better on my hair that way.

I also apply my deep conditioner to my hair in sections....basically, as of right now, my wash day process is done in sections from start to finish. So far, my hair is loving it! All parts of my hair gets the product it needs and makes my life that much easier.

So the bottom line is this: you gotta learn how to to adapt sometimes! :)

KERI HILSON Channels Some Beyonce At Billboard Awards...

Keri almost confused me and a lot of other people by channeling Beyonce at the 2011 Billboard Awards.

The dress and Keri Baby still looked hott, though...

She (Bey) still in a class by herself though... Love the ladies and their fashion sense...

LADY GAGA On Cover of Rolling Stone Magazine

Lady Gaga Covers 'Rolling Stone'

LADY GAGA nabbed the cover of 'Rolling Stone' Magazine in her usual craziness get-up....

...in this case, it's a black bra and a 'bowtie of HAIR' on her head, and MORGUE MAKE-UP.

Hmm... that's just LADY GAGA. See an excerpt from the magazine below...

On her message to critics who say her main goal is to attract attention: “Is it that you believe that I am attention-seeking or shock for shock’s sake, or is it just that it’s been a long time since someone has embraced the art form the way that I have? Perhaps it’s been a couple of decades since there’s been an artist that’s been as vocal about culture, religion, human rights, politics. I’m so passionate about what I do, every bass line, every EQ. Why is it that you don’t want more from the artist, why is it that you expect so little, so when I give and give, you assume it’s narcissistic?”

Fash, Crash, and Burn: Solange, Cassie, and Selita Ebanks HAIR FAIL!!

Ya know, it's cool to change up the hairstyle every once in a while, but there are extremes to which one shouldn't cross.

Just look at the photo above of Solange Knowles, Cassie, and Selita Ebanks. NOW.... I really hope that this HAIR was just for a party. Actually, it was for a Carol's Daughter launch and I don't know if that was supposed to be the look for the event. I do hope they did something 'bout that hair after the event, especially Solange.

All I can say that's nice is... PRETTY COOL OUTFITS, LADIES!

BIGGA BREAKFAST RADIO SHOW: APOLOGIES :( There's no BIGGA BREAKFAST RADIO SHOW this week...

Musings of a Sleepy Girl....

It has been about a week or so since I last updated this thing. I was meaning to but last week, I was just extremely tired for some reason. I would come home 'nap' and wake up around 9pm or 10pm. The post is just random things that are going on and some random thoughts I've had during the week. Now keep in mind, that are absolutely random. Don't expect any logic to them whatsoever lol

1) My french braids are getting better! :D I've been rocking my Tammy half-wig for awhile now and I pretty much keep my hair in two french braids underneath. Now let me tell you, my braids have come a looooooooong way from where I started (meaning: my first set of french braids were really really sloppy). Now, they are much better but you can still tell where my hands got tired-usually on the second braid. I'm finding that I really have to take my time with these particular braids.

2) My hair feels...meh. I need to wash it but this past weekend was not my own. I was in meetings followed by social events..I just haven't found the time. My hair still feels pretty moisturized for the most part but I know I need to wash it and soon.

3) One n' Only Argan Oil is awesome! I'm gonna have to do a product review for it but for now, just know that it's awesomeness.

and finally (and this is totally non hair related)

5) I don't like that Beyonce song. I don't care if her performance was good at the Billboard Awards, that song is still suck-tastic. There I said it.

Happy Monday everyone!

'Beautiful People' of Billboard Awards 2011 - Taboo from Blackeyed Peas

The Blackeyed Peas are always the group to watch, especially for their individual fashion senses, but I'm eager today to see what Taboo is wearing. He had his own kind of swag at the 2011 Billboard Awards that a lot of street guys can follow. I liked this look very much...

Check out his sneakers. They're Christian Louboutin Pik Pik sneakers for $1,195.
I LIKE IT-LIKE IT.

Also, check out Taboo's Louis Vuitton Evidence Sunglasses for $675.

The Best & Worst Dresses at Billboard Music Awards 2011

BEST DRESS

Selena Gomez in Dolce and Gabbana

Taylor Swift in Elie Saab

Keri Hilson

Kelly Rowland in Herve Ledger by Max Azria

Beyonce in Lanvin

WORST DRESS

Rihanna in Max Azria

It could be on my best dresses list if the pants wasn't so big. More tight fitting Riri.

Nicole Kidman in Dolce and Gabbana

It just looks old and boring. We all know that Nicole Kidman can do better than this.

Nicky Minaj

Ke$ha in Jad Ghanour

Fergie in Herve Ledger

Marie J. Blige in Marc Bouwer

Justin Bieber

Gold glitering suit? seriously?

'Beautiful People' of Billboard Awards 2011 - The Original 'Destiny's Child'

Simply beautiful is the fitting term.

Check out the 3 of the 5 original 'Destiny's Child' members: Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams. All three looked absolutely hot in their own way at the 2011 Billboard Awards.

BEYONCE's performance of 'Who Run The World (Girls)' was electrifying, as was her outfit (check pic below).

Kelly Rowland was flying high on 'Motivation' wearing what I believe was a fuchsia Herve Leger dress.

Michelle Williams looked sensual and somewhat mysterious (her serene, beautiful facial structure with her sequined and playful dress), but still HOTT nevertheless.

Skimpy: Beyonce was wearing flesh-coloured underwear and fishnets underneath the unforgiving outfit

I see you Bey... I wonder how she got that outfit on in the first place...

'Beautiful People' of Billboard Awards 2011 - RIHANNA

Rihanna is absolutely graceful on one end with all white and nude Louboutins, while her flaming red hair says otherwise. So nice to see the contrast. Although the white outfit may be a little washed out against the Billboard background, but she's still hott. Way hott.

More updates on the way...
