The 2011 North American Car and Truck of The Year

As many of you car buffs know by now, DETROIT is having their press release for the 2011 North American International Auto Show today. The car and truck of the year was officially announced (pre-announced a few months ago by Motor Trend, the premier auto magazine). If you don't know, let me introduce them to you.

2011 Car of the Year: Chevy Volt

This is nearly the fourth straight year General Motors has had this honor.



2011 Truck Of The Year: Ford Explorer

Changing the once best-selling SUV to a gas-saving crossover proved successful.

Congrats to the Big Three for putting substantial auto footprints in 2011.
