Anne Hathaway Celebrated Engagement Party in N.Y.C

Anne Hathaway had an engagement party at Housing Works Bookstore Café in downtown Manhattan on Saturday night. Unlike many Hollywood type parties, there were 125 attendees including only family and friends, and no celebrities. The Dark Knight Rises actress said that “We hit it off immediately,” adding that she is “very much in love with you”.

The 29-year old actress celebrated her engagement to Adam Shulman, who proposed in November. Over the 2011 Thanksgiving weekend, the couple announced their engagement. "It looks like The Princess Diaries star has found a much happier romantic ending”. The actress was reported to have moved into Shulman's apartment in Brooklyn. He is her boyfriend of three years.

Adam Shulman is her boyfriend of three years; however, he is not her first high-profile romance.

Anne Hathaway began her relationship with Italian estate developer Raffaello Follieri in 2004 and ended it with him in mid June 2008, citing his legal issues would become detrimental to her career.

The Oscar-nominated actress’ engagement was rumored and unveiled when she was photographed wearing a sparkler on her ring finger.

The couple announced their engagement over the 2011 Thanksgiving weekend: "It looks like The Princess Diaries star has found a much happier romantic ending”.

After three years of dating the pair was engaged in November 2011. “I’m a romantic at heart.” "I am very much in love with him, [only] Adam totally ruined my plan…I fell in love like a fool!", said Anne in the new Marie Claire U.K.

"I can definitely imagine that, yes. … I wanted to live out a little girl's fantasy, said the actress. Meanwhile, her rep confirmed to People that she was set to wed her boyfriend.

The "Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul was reported to get engaged with girlfriend Lauren Parsekian while vacationing in Paris over the New Year’s holiday. On January 9, Lauren Parsekian posted a photo of the couple showing off her flashy engagement ring with a "Bride & Groom" sign and said “Coming back home today with my fiancé!!! NYE proposal in Paris … Couldn't be more perfect. I’m so happy and excited”.

Paul and Parsekian's engagement marks another proposal taking place over the holidays, following Steven Tyler, Michael Jordan and Justin Timberlake.

Aaron Paul, 32, and Lauren Parsekian, 24, took a fun photo gazing into each others’ eyes behind a bottle of champagne and a handmade sign that said, “Bride & Groom To Be”

Aaron Paul was reported to tie the knot with his girlfriend Lauren Parsekian when they went on a vacation in Paris over the New Year holiday.

Lauren who is the president and co- founder of Finding Kind Productions showed off her engagement ring on Facebook and wrote “I'm so happy and excited and honored to share my life with the most amazing man on the planet”

Aaron Paul and Lauren Parsekian have been dating for less than a year. According to a source, the couple “have been really lovely-dovey from the start”. Their engagement marks another proposal taking place over the holidays, following Steven Tyler, Michael Jordan and Justin Timberlake.
