NBA player Dwyane Wade turned 30 on January 17, 2012. He celebrated his early birthday at Setai Hotel in Miami beach on Sunday night, January 15. The high-profile birthday party was planned by his longtime girlfriend Gabrielle Union. Dwyane Wade received a 2012 McLaren MP4-12C sports car, a vintage bottle of 1982 Dom Perignon and a diamond encrusted Hublot 3000 watch. Many celebrity guests like Miami Heat’s teammates, T.I, Usher, Rick Ross, Common and Kelly Rowland joined the party with special performances.

There were three surprise performances that Gabrielle Union prepared to celebrate her boyfriend’s birthday. Common, who grew up in the same Chicago neighborhood with Wade was the first to show up on stage with four songs “Go”, “The People”, “Blue Sky” and “Celebrate”. His performance was followed by T.I. and later on, by Rick Ross.

A week ago, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade were featured on the February 2012 of Essence Magazine. When asked if the Hollywood couple had plans to marry, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade stated that they do not want to rush.
Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade have been together for three years. Both Gabrielle and Dwyane have been married before and the marriages did not turn out as expected. Union tied the knot with NFL player Chris Howard for five years while Wade married Siohvaughn Funches with whom he has two sons.
