Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler postponed their dating on Thursday evening to step out for the premiere of the actress’s new film “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Apart from her boyfriend Austin Butler, Vanessa Hudgens attended the event alongside co-stars Dwayne Johnson, Josh Hutcherson and Kristin Davis. The premiere of “Journey 2” also featured many big stars, including Ashley Tisdale and Rachel McAdams.

The former High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens appeared at the event on Thursday, February 2, 2012, wearing a beautiful yellow dress, while her boyfriend Austin Butler looked elegant in a gray suit. Although the couple didn’t make out or anything, all eyes know that the young duo are very deep in love. It was also reported that Vanessa Hudgens and boyfriend Austin Butler went dancing together earlier in the day.

Also hitting up for the event, Josh Hutcherson looked dapper in a blue suit. The actor happily posed for pictures with his “Journey 2” costar and ex-girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.

The forthcoming movie “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” directed by Brad Peyton tells a story of Sean Anderson, who teams with the boyfriend of his mother to find his missing grandfather. Also starring Luis Guzman and Michael Caine, the movie is set to hit theaters on the upcoming Friday, February 10, 2012.

In order to kick off a month-long promotional trip for their new movie “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island”, the former couple of Vanessa Hudgens and Josh Hutcherson stepped out together to attend the world premiere of the film. “Journey 2” young stars, who were previously reported as couple, became the center of attention on Sunday, January 15, 2012 when they hit the red carpet of the event held at Village Cinemas Jam Factory in Melbourne, Australia.

Although Vanessa Hudgens and Josh Hutcherson dated and split last summer, they looked still intimate. The rumored ex-couple were all smiles as they posed for red carpet pictures. The young co-stars received the warm welcome at the Jam Factory Cinema and they will continue promoting their "Journey 2" with a premiere event in Sydney on Tuesday, 17th January 2012.

Vanessa Hudgens said that her best friend was actually from Australia and she really loved the country. The 23-year-old actress also added that the big reason for her to do the movie was the opportunity to work with Michael Caine. Meanwhile, her co-star Josh Hutcherson is preparing for the release of his blockbuster “The Hunger Games.”

Before the premiere, Vanessa Hudgens, Josh Hutcherson and their team headed to the Melbourne Aquarium, where Vanessa later shared on her official site that: “Too much fun with Hutch and the gang at the Melbourne aquarium yesterday :)”

Vanessa Hudgens is currently seeing much in love with actor Austin Butler. The two lovebirds have been making the headlines many times these days. A few days before, the actress was captured grabbing breakfast at Hugo’s with her boyfriend, Austin Butler.
