Although Rooney Mara tried to ignore the questions about whom she was dating while promoting her film "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo." However, the actress, who is famous for her man-hating and butt-kicking character Lisbeth Salander, has been revealed to have a boyfriend. The lucky man is Charlie McDowell, son of British actor Malcolm McDowell and the stepson of Ted Danson.
The couple of Rooney Mara and Charlie McDowell have been linked together since at least 2010 when they were first photographed locking lips. The two has recently spotted walking arm-in-arm after landing in LAX airport for a fly from New York together. Mara and McDowell were dressed casually, wearing matching knitted black hats.

The 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards were held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles on January 15, 2012. George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Jessica Alba, Claire Danes, Juliana Margulies, and many other big stars were present to celebrate one of the year's biggest nights in TV and film. Besides, Rooney Mara and Nicole Richie were also spotted walking the red carpet of the show.
“The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” star Rooney Mara donned a black Nina Ricci dress while the reality TV star Nicole Richie rocked the red carpet in a silver Julien Macdonald gown. These two stars drew the full attention of paparazzi and fans as they posed for red carpet pictures.
