I've got to say that this is one great look on J-Lo. It's very versatile and can be easily played into warm weather, a day off, a sensual/business casual look (even though I said Business, it probably isn't what you should wear to work, ladies), or an event (upscale).

RIHANNA Performs "California King Bed' In Sultry Sophisication on American Idol

RIHANNA... boy... when she's in this kind of element (her subtle yet sensual dress) that contrasts beautifully with her fiery hair, she is almost UNREAL. Her beauty is staggering.

I usually have my say... but for right now, I'm at a loss for words. WOW.

She performed Thursday night (4/14/11) at the American Idol show. The whole ambiance was just breathtaking. See Rihanna's velvety, nude-colored outfit (also worn with nude-colored Louboutins) in different views:

INTERESTING: Fantasia's New Blonde Hairdo

Artist Fantasia Barrino is known for having several different hairstyles, and yet she recently rocked a new one.... which didn't go over too well with the blogging world.

Media Takeout said HOODRATCHEDNESS.

A fan said, 'That's tooooo ghetto!'

...And I say, 'It's an interesting look for a fashion show or performance, but not for EVERYDAY!' But maybe I should cut her some slack since she's being practicing for a movie role...

Is "American Idol" on the comeback? Is J.LO on the comeback as well??

I haven't seen American Idol this exciting in such a long time. So many twists and turns, so many exuberant people and crushed dreams (heyy, they will make a COMEBACK as well), and so many great performances. The last time I was so moved by an episode of American Idol was back in the 'FANTASIA' days (remember that?)

American Idol got higher than normal ratings in its 10th season, along with 40 MILLION VOTES to help select the top 10 (excluding the wild cards)! Now, I already have 4 favorites for my TOP 10, but Karen Rodriguez is my early #1 favorite, then Thia Megia, then that 'tude girl Ashthon is a close third; just somethin' about Karen, though...

And JENNIFER LOPEZ, absolutely defying the age of 41, shows her toned, stretch mark FREE abs in her new music video 'On The Floor' with artist Pitbull, dancing and gyrating well. Now, my genre in my blog is not music, but I will say this: J.Lo's FASHION SENSE in the video is MUSIC TO MY EARS! Her golden gown and black 'BAD GIRL' street clothes shows a sufficient spectrum of J.Lo's range and is reminiscient of her 'Puff Daddy' days. The direction of the video may be hard to follow, but it's still entertaining.

FANTASIA BARRINO Rocks Short Hair

Fantasia, renowned American Idol winner and R&B singer is really "DOIN' HER" with renewed life after her overdose and personal problems. She had released her album a while back and released some great songs to go along with it.

What I'm doing basically is just checking out all of Fantasia's short hair styles that she can easily do; it's just her and she can do it very well.

My beautiful urban ladies, looking for a couple of styles, just take a look at hair magazines at your local grocery store or bookstore. Also, Fantasia's various hairdos are a staple in one of those magazines and is often a point of reference to follow.
