Black History Month Edition: Stylist JUNE AMBROSE and Rising Star Designer LAQUAN SMITH

It's nice to see black people supporting one another here in a nation where BLACK-ON-BLACK crimes is just getting ridiculous!!!

Check out well-known stylist JUNE AMBROSE, who will launch a reality show and her own eyewear line very soon, I believe on the VH1 network. She is photo'ed above next to LaQuan Smith, a fast-rising designer (he's only 23) and is in the ranks with older designer houses like Karl Lagerfeld, Louis Vuitton, and others... HIS LINE IS ONLY 3 YEARS OLD!!

June Ambrose reportedly says that she supports young black designers!

I will post more pics of his line later...

Black History Month Edition: ANTM/Supermodel Eva Marcille

(Above: Most recent pic at time of post; pumps are encrusted in Swarovski crystals by Louboutin for $6,000)

In honor of Black History Month, I'm going over many of the black supermodels, actors, actresses, entertainers, singers, activists, etc. One of the many who graces my blog is supermodel 'Eva Marcille' (or Eva Pigford). She won America's Next Top Model several years ago, and she's been doing great ever since, winning photographers' hearts as well as winning spots on magazine covers.

Check out some of her pics below, and bask in Eva's beauty:

Black History Month Edition: Model CHANEL IMAN (Photos)

Sometimes models need no introduction. After all, when they do photo shoots and strut down the runway, they're usually not talking, and they're actually showing people THEIR language through their walk and the clothes they wear.

So take a look at CHANEL IMAN's 'language;' this young, tall, slender model speaks it in various ways, for she's versatile in her style:

Black History Month Edition: DOROTHY DANDRIDGE

Dorothy Dandridge was such a beautiful black woman with style, elegance, and enough pull to get her to sing before white audiences, which was unprecedented in her time. For more detail about Dorothy, check out the movie Halle Berry played starring the lustrous singer a couple years ago. Check out her style...

Gorgeous... and gone so soon at her young age.

Pics of MEAGAN GOOD, LETOYA LUCKETT, and VANESSA SIMMONS: Young Black Beauties (Who's The Best-Looking, Style-Wise?)

BOYY, BOYY, BOYY... I'm celebrating Black History Month in a big, big way, starting off with Beyonce, and leading to the next three black beauties:

Meagan Good, Letoya Luckett, and Vanessa Simmons.

Both were spotted at the same venue wearing 3 very different looks, but are EQUALLY, STYLISHLY INFLUENTIAL. Meagan is known as the tomboy who can still effortlessly handle a couture dress, like she did above. That dress is FIYAH! And on top of that, it's the guys' favorite 'GET ME' color: RED! The satin stilettos are great, too. Makeup looks...a little plastered, but otherwise great overall look.

Rating: 8.5/10.0

Letoya Luckett has the BEST all-around attire fit for several occasions, in which each fashion piece can be separated and worn to a certain event (I LOVE A GOOD MIX-AND-MATCH). She got my attention with the sexy dinner jacket, studded Louboutins, and PERFECT makeup.

Rating: 9.5/10.0

Vanessa Simmons is a great example of YOUNG ICON. She's always demure in her attire and while her dress may elicit a few negative responses, I look at the dress as ART, not too much as fashion or a trendsetter. Vanessa's look draws up an aura of rather more of a young billionaire heiress than 'party girl', which the latter is more on MEAGAN's side. The makeup is excellent as well.

Rating: 7.5/10.0

Overall, these three young women have done STYLE in Black History Month plenty of justice, ladies and gents..
