I first saw these in a commercial on TV, leggings that look like jeans. At first actually, I thought these were a joke...until.... women everywhere started wearing them.
It's a complete surprise to me... ladies...you like these? REALLY?? I'll have to say that you do because in the category of denim jeans, which is a billion-dollar item, and "jeggings," which are fairly new, has already commanded
$178 million in sales. These jeggings are described as stylish yet extremely comfortable and stretchy, and are often mistaken for real denim jeans. Celebrities such as Beyonce, Rihanna, Pink, and one of the gospel singers of Mary Mary was spotted wearing them.
These can be found in department stores from Wal-Mart to Macy's nationwide and probably internationally; designer labels have caught on to this hott new trend and have released their own version of jeggings, too; prices range from $10 or cheaper to just over $100.
These jeggings have been around for a while, apparently, but why is it that when a celeb wears it, it becomes the hottest thing?? *LoL*
