Small Collective Haul + Reviews

The Body Shop Body Butter in “Mango” and “Sweet Lemon”
Did I tell you that I love The Body Shop body butter? In my opinion it is seriously the best product from the company, excellent moisture, wide range of selection, and it seems like these body butters great enough to spread on my toast! The mango scent is one of my all times favorites, the sweet lemon is the latest scent, to me it smells ok, light citrusy smell, not the sour and invigorating lemon smell that I want, but it does the job, moisturize my dry skin plus gives a silky smooth feeling.

The Body Shop Face and Body Brush
I bought this brush because I desperately need a better quality brush in my collection. Since MAC brushes are too expensive and Sigma Brushes hard to come by in my country, I decide to give it a try, the first thing came to my mind when I tried it was “the handle waaay too huge and not comfortable, the brush itself on the other hand, is very soft and give me a nice application.” No regret buying this brush. Especially at that day The Body Shop gave me 45% off for everything that I bought! Great deal!

Revlon Colorstay Foundation in “Nude” for combination/oily skin
I bought it about a month ago, after spent months thinking about should I buy it or not. After I heard good reviews on makeupalley and so many beauty gurus rave about this foundation on youtube, I decide to give it a try. The first thing come to my mind when I used it was “wow the hole is huge! Why don’t they give me pumps?!” so much product comes out, create a waste, create a mess!  The foundation itself give me a medium coverage and flawless finish, so far I never have a breakouts after using this foundation, I just think the packaging can be better.

EOS Lip Balm in “Summer Fruit”
Yes I love Youtube, and when so many beauty gurus swear by this cute lip balm, I know I had to have it! So I went online and purchased this on indomakeup.com, it is much more expensive than the original price on EOS website but what can I do? This product is not available in my country T_T but it is worth it, even so many celebs love it! it is organic, gluten-free, paraben-free, petrolatum-free, and phthalate-free. It smells yummy and taste good! Sweet natural taste, not a sweet turn to bitter chemical taste that I find in my Hawaiian Tropic “Tropical flavor”. Overall I’m pleased by this cute little ball, and I will definitely try the other flavors, lemon drop and sweet mint are intriguing.

Celebrities love it too

Have you ever try the product I mention above? What do you think about it?

Review: The Body Shop Body Butter Duo

Hi Vixens,
The last time I visited Kuala Lumpur, I had a chance to buy this new body butter duo, I was so excited to see this because I love The Body Shop body butters so much! and I believe when I make this post, the body butter duo is still not available in my country, Indonesia. The fact that I got it for 30% off just make me much happier. Who doesn’t love it when The Body Shop has discount?
Ok, so this body butter contains two separate formulas, one side contains lighter cream for normal skin areas like your hand and leg, the other side provides thicker cream for dry skin areas like your elbow and heel. Personally I’ve been using the lighter cream for day and the richer cream for night. You get the idea, day cream and night cream :D
Available in four scents, this product contains shea butter, cocoa butter, nut oil, and beeswax. I chose the vanilla scent because it is soooo yummy! Perfect pair for the Vanilla eau de toilette. The normal butter feels slightly oily when I put it on my skin, but after a few minutes this cream absorbs to my skin and leaves a beautiful sheen. The butter for the dry skin is denser and thick, ideal for my cracked heel and all over body at night time before sleep. The scent itself really do last on me for about 2-3 hours before it fades, however if you living in hot, humid, and tropical area like me, you will find the butter for dry skin is far too greasy for day use and sweet vanilla scent can be overwhelming.
I'm going to layer the butter with this perfume! the vanilla perfume on the left is very old! I have it since I was about 15 years old! the vanilla on the right is the newest one, TBS Malaysia brings back vanilla to their collection! Hooraayy!

PS: You can see my Kuala Lumpur beauty haul in here

Edit:
Finally, now Body Butter Duo available in all The Body Shop stores all over Indonesia. I'm so happy. So I restock the vanilla one because it is my favorite and I try the floral acai, it smells so pretty, fresh and feminine. I can't wait to try the macadamia and sweet pea scent.

Overall I really love this body butter, I will continue to repurchase these things and recommend it to everyone.

Review of Victoria’s Secret “Pure Seduction” Body Spray and Hand & Body Cream

Victoria’s Secret “Pure Seduction” Refreshing Body Mist

When I was in Changi Airport Singapore a few days back, I decide to tried this Victoria’s Secret stuff. I adore this scent! I love it so much. Very fresh, sweet, and addicting. It contains cassaba melon, plum, and freesia, but personally I smell juicy strawberry and the melon in it. The smell is really strong and fruity when I first spray it onto my skin, but after a few minutes, it changes to this light and airy fruity floral scent. Subtle, delicate and inoffensive for the people around you. Just don’t spray too much because this body spray has amazing sillage. Pure Seduction is great spring/summer fragrance and by the way…my bf loves it too.

The only complain I have about this is the scent doesn’t last long on my skin. I have to re-apply every two hours or so. But that is fine. Every single body sprays in this world will not last on everybody too. If lasting power is very important for you, I suggest buy fragrance in the form of eau de parfum or parfum because they more concentrated and absolutely last longer.

Victoria’s Secret “Pure Seduction” Ultra-Moisturizing Hand and Body Cream

In the store I tried the Pure Seduction body lotion first and I love it. The lotion is very moisturizing, nice consistency, and smells very good, exactly like the body spray. But I decided to buy the hand and body cream because I thought it will moisturize my skin more than the body lotion. The hand and body cream is very rich and of course ticker than the lotion. It makes my skin feels so smooth and silky.

The only thing is, when I first apply, this hand and body cream smells so strong! Very strong! Like a very fruity car freshener! Like something I would use on the floor or toilet! I need to wait a few minutes so the smell settles and fade a little bit. But this one has a great lasting power ( I still can smell it four hours later ). If times can go back, I would choose the body lotion. Not the cream.

What do you think of ‘Pure Seduction’? Or do you prefer “Love Spell”? I love Love Spell too! What is your favorite fragrance from Victoria’s Secret? Or tell me your absolute favorite perfume on the comment below.

What’s Inside My Everyday Makeup Bag

I love this kind of post! I've been reading 'What's In My Purse' or 'What's Inside My Makeup Bag' on another blogs, I've been watching it on Youtube for so long, it is so much fun to see what other girls bring with them on daily basis.

These are the products that I carry with me every day, but I switch things up because wearing the same lip color, same eyeshadow, same blush, and same perfume every day is boring!

I got the makeup bag for free when I bought Lux soap and scrub package a long time ago, I love this bag because is clear so I can see exactly all the products. It is easy to clean up, and this bag can handle a lot of things inside.

I always carry hair tie and hair pin, band-aids, Clean and Clear oil blotting sheets, cotton pads and a q-tips. Sometimes I carry nail clipper and nail buffer.

I also carry the lip products that I’m wearing that day.
In picture:
NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in ‘Natural’
NYX lipstick in “Thalia” ( which is waayy too dark than I expected )
The Body Shop lip balm in “Pink Guava”

MAC Blot Powder in “Medium”.
MAC blush in “Coygirl” ( pink slightly purple color ).
The Body Shop Matte & Shimmer Cheek Colour No.01 ( This is waaayy to light for me, it doesn’t even show up on my skin, but I still use it for highlight because it has a lovely shimmer in it ).
Dior 5 colours eyeshadow in “Pansies”. Sometime I bring an eyeshadow with me.

This two MAC products are bought by my sister in Malaysia because MAC price in Indonesia is INSANELY EXPENSIVE ! on their website, MAC single eyeshadow is US $ 14.5 in Indonesia is about US $ 22-25 ! Also I’m afraid to purchase through some random online stores or E-Bay because most of them are clearly fake but they claim it to be autenthic… T_T

This Dior is very old! maybe I should throw it away, my aunt gave it to me because she doesn’t want to use it anymore.

Cheap eyelash curler.
Maybelline Volume Express Mascara.
L’oreal Telescopic Mascara ( the tube is scripped off and looking dirty T_T ).
Revlon liquid eyeliner.
Sometimes I just bring the eyelash curler and leave the rest at home.

L’occitane ‘Candied Rose’ eau de toilette. My aunt bought me this when she was travelled to Europe. Absolutely L’occitane price in Paris is cheaper than in Jakarta.

I bring a lotion with me too, actually this is Vaseline Healthy White SPF 24, but I use the small L’occitane Verbena Body Lotion bottle because the bottle is small so it doesn’t take a lot of space.

I also bring a comb and a cheap blush brush with me to touch up.

What makeup do you bring with everywhere? Leave a comment below, I really love to hear from you :D
