Emmanuel Adebayor will miss Sunday's Manchester derby against Manchester United at Old Trafford
Adebayor, 25, has accepted a three-match suspension, which will commence with
the United game this weekend, after pleading guilty to the violent conduct
charge brought as a result of his foul on Robin van Persie, which left the
Dutch forward with facial injuries, during City's 4-2 Eastlands victory last
Saturday.
