Laura Kaeppeler of Wisconsin has won the 2012 Miss America crown on Saturday, 14 January in Las Vegas last night. The 23-year old brunette from Kenosha impresses the judges and audiences with her intelligence, singing talent, white fabulous swimsuit and a chic black beaded evening gown that people compared to Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton dress in her wedding.
During the event, Miss America 2012 Laura Kaeppeler sang an Italian aria for her talent competition with an utterly gorgeous operatic voice in a red dress. When being asked about whether or not Miss America winners should voice their political views by rambling on about how they represent the country as a whole, she answered, “Miss America represents everyone, so I think the message to political candidates is that they represent everyone as well,” Kaeppeler said”. She also insists, “And so in these economic times, we need to be looking forward to what America needs, and I think Miss America needs to represent all”. Along with the honor title, the 23 year old beauty queen earned a $50,000 scholarship for her victory and hopes to build a platform around mentoring children of incarcerated parents.
