Numerous celebrities have very unremarkable real names. A surprising number of them wanted to sound a little cooler, so they have sought and opted catchy pseudonym for the sake of show business. Check out these celebrities who changed their birth-given names.

Steven Tyler, born Steven Victor Tallarico, is best known as the lead singer of rock ban Aerosmith. The singer was mostly involved with drug rehabilitation, sobriety for 12 years, a relapse with prescription painkillers in the late 2000s. The name Tyler became a household name after his remarkable comeback in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Elizabeth Grant, better known by her stage name Lana Del Rey, has been described as a “self-styled gangsta Nancy Sinatra.”

Carlos Irwin is better known by his stage name Charlie Sheen. Deciding to become an actor, he took the stage name, which his father had adopted in honor of the Catholic archbishop and theologian Fulton J. Sheen.

In recent days, Lana Del Rey becomes a famous name all around the world as a talented American singer-songwriter. Lana Del Rey, whose real name is Elizabeth Grant, has been described as a "self-styled gangsta Nancy Sinatra". In late June 2011, Del Rey released her first single “Video Games” and her latest music work is the album “Born to Die” which was released on 31 January 2012. The much talked-about singer/songwriter Lana Del Rey makes herself her expected arrival at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with "Born To Die" which is sold 77,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan. However, Lana Del Rey has announced the postponement of her tour due to harsh criticism for her appearance on Saturday Night Live.

Lana Del Rey, who quickly becomes a household name thanks to the popularity of her worldwide hit single "Video Games, looks stunning on the cover of the March 2012 issue of British Vogue magazine

Although Lana Del Rey (aka Lizzy Grant) denied having any plastic surgery, it is pretty clear based on the comparison of before and after pictures that she has had work done on her lips. Her new pout could be a result of lip implants.
