Style: Rihanna & Benjamin Bixby

Rihanna 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9Hello and welcome back to my lil' style review. This time I'm reflecting on some of the hottest wardrobe Benjamin Bixby (Andre 3000) and Rihanna have worn. I put these two in an interesting collaboration of style because... I guess that's how my mind works sometimes LOL. But these two people have made staples in their very own way, Benjamin with his eclectic, otherworldly yet craaaaazy timeless style (as seen in his music videos) and Rihanna with her ever-evolving style, most notably her "RATED R" days.

Take a look:

The Benjamin Bixby clothing line by Andre Benjamin, a.k.a. Andre 3000, is a late 1930's inspired line drawn from old college football documentaries. The collection consists of 70 pieces that was released at Barney's NY for Fall 2008. Due to recession, clothing production for 2009-2011 has been cancelled until further notice but the clothes are still available in stores like Barney's, Bloomingdales's, and Neiman Marcus.

And... we all know who RIHANNA is! Now my role is not to talk in details about "music" but "fashion" only. Rihanna, in her 6-year-career, has belted out so many looks that it'll make your head spin. All of the looks that she has sported has caught many girls worldwide by storm. They wear everything from Rihanna's "RATED R" mohawk to her shoulder-padded dresses.

Now Rihanna is in her "LOUD" (her latest 2010 CD) days with a more island and floral approach. This new era is a deep contrast from 2009 that brought forth a dark, gothic era that kinda....ooooh....scared a little but still manage to grab attention, especially on the TREND part. Take a look at some of the pictures that I felt were solid, hott, can't-get-enough-of, from "RATED R" and "LOUD" :

"RATED R" WEAR:

In Christian Louboutins

In Viktor & Rolf

JAIDEN'S PICK: Both by Alexander Vauthier (Flamin' hott label; couldn't get enough of it!)

In BRYCE D'ANICE AIME : As seen in "HARD" music video

"LOUD" Wear:

The lady in red: Rihanna's curly red hair drew a lot of attention.

Boyyy... I sure posted a lot but there you have it. There were so many styles to choose from but hey...it's what I got right here, for your eyes...HOTT and HAUTE COUTURE brands from around the world, coming from one guy...representing Detroit!!
