*Move over Oprah, Beyonce may be poised to be the WEALTHIEST female entertainer in the world. According to an EXTREMELY RELIABLE insider, Simon Cowell has offered Beyonce $500M - to be a judge on the hit TV series X-Factor.

According to MediaTakeOut.com's insider, who is the same person that EXCLUSIVELY gave us the news that Jennifer Lopez was joining American Idol (see here), Simon Cowell DESPERATELY wants to revive X-Factor and he believes that Beyonce is the one to do it.

The insider explained, "He wants a big name female star on the panel. Mariah [Carey] is good, but she's not that hot today. He wants Beyonce because that would immediately give him the bounce needed to beat American Idol."

And Simon is willing to PAY to land Beyonce. Our snitch tells us that he's offered Beyonce $500M, or $100M per year for 5 seasons. If Bey accepted, she and Jay Z would IMMEDIATELY be worth over $1 BILLION combined.

So we know what you're wondering - is Beyonce interested. Our snitch in the Beyonce camp is tight lipped, but told us to expect a very "MAJOR" career announcement from Beyonce in the next month or so.

Typically we would say that it was a BAD move for Beyonce to be a judge on X-Factor . . . but for $500 MILLI . . . take that money GIRRRRRL!!!

*Judge Nicole Scherzinger and host Steve Jones have been unceremoniously dumped from the X Factor USA after just one season.


Simon Cowell's former darling Paula Abdul today confirmed she had also been fired from the panel in a desperate shake-up by the mogul and the show's producers.
'Yes, it’s true; I won’t be returning to The X Factor next season,' Abdul said in a statement today.


'I’ve learned through my longevity in this industry that business decisions often times override personal considerations.


She continued: 'Simon is, and will remain a dear friend of mine and I’ve treasured my experience working this past season. I want nothing more than for The X Factor to exceed ALL of their wildest dreams. This truly has been a blessing and I am most grateful.'

Cowell, who first worked with Abdul on American Idol, wants to re-boot the show after its ratings fell short of expectations when it was launched last year.

 'I want to say a massive thank you to Paula, Nicole and Steve for being part of The X Factor last year. We had a lot of fun making the show together and importantly, we found some real talent and stars. You do develop friendships with the people you work with and Paula, in particular, is a very close friend and I expect to be working with her on another project in the near future. I'm sure all three are going to have massive success in what they do next , but now is the time to thank them all for everything they did last year.'

The decision to dismiss Abdul has surprised many, given how hard Cowell worked to secure her on the panel.


It took several months for her contract to negotiated and she only closed her deal hours before the first televised audition.


'You just have to get that chemistry, and she’s right,' he said at the time. 'I’ve never found anyone better than her.'


Both Abdul and Scherzinger were embroiled in the controversy surrounding the shock elimination of 13-year-old frontrunner Rachel Crow.


Cowell hinted at a major changes on the show last month when he was quoted as saying: 'We change these shows all the time.'
 

And he said in a statement today: 'I want to say a massive thank you to Paula, Nicole and Steve for being part of The X Factor last year.  I'm sure all three are going to have massive success in what they do next , but now is the time to thank them all for everything they did last year.'


Although the X Factor performed solidly in the ratings, hovering around the 12 million mark, it did not attract the same kind of huge viewing figures regularly attained by Cowell's former show American Idol.

Cowell had also recently admitted that that he may have been overconfident when it came to the American version of his hit show, after ratings did not reach his 20 million prediction.


He said he became ‘a bit too cocky' last year and admitted the slumping viewing figures had 'put my ego in check'.


Record executive L.A. Reid, who has previously worked with Mariah Carey, Pink, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, survived the cut.


Nicole managed a brave face as she stepped out in New York City in a black lacy top, skinny black jeans and an oversized fluffy fur gilet.

Deadline reports that sources say neither Jones, Scherzinger and Abdul left the show of their own accord.


But Nicole's camp insist it was her decision not to return.

'She wants to focus on her music career,' a source said. 'She's spoken to Simon [Cowell] and he's given her his blessing.'

Nicole, 33, is currently rehearsing for her upcoming European tour that kicks off next month.

'X Factor took a lot more of her time than she ever expected,' the source said. 'She didn't have any time really to work on her music. She was doing X Factor six days a week.'

Nicole had originally been slated to be a presenter on the U.S. version of the TV talent show, but ended up stepping onto the judging panel when original judge Cheryl Cole was ditched.


'She found out today,' a show source told E! Online. 'At this point, the only ones staying are Simon and L.A. Reid.'


Another source confirms to E! News that both Paula and Nicole's contracts were not renewed.

"American Idol" honcho Nigel Lythgoe has balls -- he's asking Prez Obama to come on the show to do the song that made him even more famous -- with Al Green.

Seems Nigel was blown away by Obama's short rendition of "Let's Stay Together" at the Apollo Theater earlier this month.

So Nigel just tweeted the Prez, "We loved your vocal performance so much we'd love to invite you on to American Idol this Season for a duet with Al Green."

Danny Gokey’s manager has confirmed that the singer of American Idol’s season eight has tied the knot to model Leyicet Peralta. Alum Danny Gokey and his new wife engaged in late December 2011, three years after the tragic death of his first wife Sophia.

Danny Gokey’s wedding to Leyicet Peralta was spotted to take place in Florida on Sunday, January 29, 2012 in front of their family and friends. The newlyweds shared that they are so happy to have met each other and now they can spend the rest of their lives together. The couple also said: “We pray our gratitude grows more every day because there is so much for us to do now.”

James Durbin Wedding: American Idol Alum Married Heidi Lowe on New Year's Eve

James Durbin, from American Idol season 10, got married his longtime girlfriend Heidi Lowe on New Year’s Eve. Their wedding was hold in California’s Santa Cruz Mountains in front of 85 guests including their 2-year old son, Hunter, who was the ring bearer and several Durbin’s fellow “American Idol” contestants Haley Reinhart, Stefano Langone and Casey Abrams.

James Durbin and Heidi Lowe thought their wedding was the “perfect way” to celebrate the New Year and looked forward to a long and happy life together.

James Durbin (born January 6, 1989) is an American rock singer and guitar player from Santa Cruz, California. He finished in fourth place on the tenth season of American Idol.

James Durbin and Heidi Lowe first met at a karaoke party four years ago. The 22-year-old singer has credited Heidi as helping him through his struggle with Tourette's and Asperger's. “In the middle of it all, I met an angel... Heidi's just changed my life so much”

The couple has a 2-year-old son, Hunter, who was the ring bearer in their wedding.

Three years after the tragic death of his wife, Alum Danny Gokey of American Idol’s season eight has been reported to get engagement to his girlfriend Leyicet Peralta. The musician made his announcement via the website of Sophia’s Heart, a charity that honors the memory of his late wife Sophia. According to this site, the 31-year-old singer has recently told friends and family about their plan to hold the wedding in late January 2012. The couple of Alum Danny Gokey and Leyicet Peralta also asked guests of their ceremony to make a donation to Sophia's Heart.

The couple expressed their thankfulness to blessings God has given to them and said that they want to help homeless children as well as families to be stayed together. Danny Gokey and Leyicet Peralta wanted to help those pitiful people through the help of Sophia's Heart.

Alum Danny Gokey has risen to fame as a finalist on American Idol's eighth season. One month before Gokey first auditioned for American Idol in 2008, his wife whom he met and fell in love in high school had to experience a routine surgery for her heart disease, but Sophia finally died from complications. Danny Gokey shared his said story on national TV alongside Kris Allen and Adam Lambert and found the charity Sophia’s Heart in honor of his late wife.

On Tuesday, Danny Gokey tweeted: “No one can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.” Leyicet Peralta is said to be the girl who has made Gokey thrilled. She is also the person who shares the singer’s desire to help children and family in need.

J-Lo returns to 'American Idol' for $20 Mil

We all know she’s coming back, but here’s yet another indication that she really is, indeed, coming back.

It has finally been confirmed that fan/contestant favorite on last season’s American Idol Jennifer Lopez will return to the show for a second season!

Speaking with “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” on Wednesday, AI executive producer Nigel Lythgoe​ dished: “I am delighted to say that all three judges, along with the brilliant host of American Idol Ryan Seacrest, is back for the next season.”

He also added that sole original judge Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler​ will soon hit the road for the 11th season auditions in Denver; Houston; St. Louis; Portland, Oregon; San Diego; Pittsburgh; and Charleston, South Carolina.

Last season, J-Lo made a mere $12 million, but sources say the new contract is north of $20 million.

Lopez has yet to make a statement about her return to the show, and her spokespeople could not be reached for comment. Reps for Fox have no comment at the time, either.

But in any event … congrats J.Lo, and welcome back!
