According to MediaTakeOut.com's insider, who is the same person that EXCLUSIVELY gave us the news that Jennifer Lopez was joining American Idol (see here), Simon Cowell DESPERATELY wants to revive X-Factor and he believes that Beyonce is the one to do it.

The insider explained, "He wants a big name female star on the panel. Mariah [Carey] is good, but she's not that hot today. He wants Beyonce because that would immediately give him the bounce needed to beat American Idol."

And Simon is willing to PAY to land Beyonce. Our snitch tells us that he's offered Beyonce $500M, or $100M per year for 5 seasons. If Bey accepted, she and Jay Z would IMMEDIATELY be worth over $1 BILLION combined.

So we know what you're wondering - is Beyonce interested. Our snitch in the Beyonce camp is tight lipped, but told us to expect a very "MAJOR" career announcement from Beyonce in the next month or so.

*Beyonce is back under the microscope after giving birth to Blue Ivy.

A new photo of the superstar is featured on her website and on promotional ads for her latest album that captures Bey with a lighter, brighter skin tone.

At first glance you could mistake her for a lightly airbrushed white skinned Victoria’s Secret model. But then with a closer look you notice it’s actually the singer.

With the blonde hair and beaming camera lights, it’s hard to tell the woman is Black.

Critics all over the net and in the press are questioning the singer’s motives, as her image has slowly began to fade into white. Some say the whitewashing of her images is sending a damaging message to the world, but most importantly to Black youth.

Anthony Blades, founder of race blog, ThisIsYourConscious.com, is confused about Bey’s purpose.
“It’s like, Again? Are we here again? I think in a lot of ways shes culpable because there’s history there,” he writes. “She’s not saying explicitly you have to lighten your skin, but it does carry that inherent message.”
But this isn’t the first time the singer has received such strong criticism from her Black observers.

It seems that her image over the years have progressively become lighter and blonder.

Although she was only five days old, Blue Ivy Carter, daughter of music icons Jay-Z and Beyoncé, is already making and breaking records. The newborn just bested Stevie Wonder’s daughter as the youngest person to ever appear on the Billboard music charts.

While the baby was undoubtedly destined for musical greatness (or at least Willow Smith levels of talent), making the charts as an infant is quite a feat. Proud papa Jay-Z recorded and released his track “Glory” less than 48 hours after his daughter’s birth.

The song features baby Blue Ivy cooing and crying from the cradle, which is why she is credited on the song. The album debuted on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop song charts at no. 74, officially making B.I.C. — as she’s credited on the song — the youngest person ever to make the charts, according to Billboard.

The title was formerly held by Stevie Wonder’s daughter, Aisha. Wonder wrote “Isn’t She Lovely” for his then-newborn girl. The track also featured the little girl’s coos and breaths, but did not credit her for her contributions to the song.

When the oversight was rectified and the song hit the charts, Aisha was already two years old. So Blue Ivy reigns supreme, as NewsFeed is sure she will continue to do as she grows up.

Despite some rumors claiming that she has given birth, the 30-year-old singer Beyoncé was spotted spending New Year's Eve 2012 enjoying dinner with her husband Jay-Z at Buttermilk Channel in Brooklyn, New York. According to a source, the duo "shared a cozy meal for two" while seated across from each other. Especially, her baby bump was still intact at that time, proving that the Single Ladies star is still heavily pregnant. “She looked amazing. She wore sky-high heels. It was really impressive for an enormously pregnant woman,” the source said. “She looked like she was about to give birth.”

The couple sparked Twitter frenzy on December 29, 2011 when reports emerged that Beyonce had given birth at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital in New York. The first news of the couple's birth claimed they had confirmation from two nurses at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital that they were preparing the labor suite for Beyonce's arrival but Beyonce’s sister Solange cleared the air. “Shout out to my sister for being THE cutest pregnant woman ever!” Solange wrote on her Twitter account after a New Year’s party for family and friends at her place in New York City.

A source close to pregnant Pop star Beyonce couldn’t hold her tongue. Jay and Bey are having a girl, the insider said.

Not too long ago, Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles, revealed that she and others close to the family knew the baby is a girl, but she didn’t want to be the one to spill the beans.

The source told In Touch that the couple would have been happy with either a boy or a girl, but supposedly Beyonce was hoping to dress her baby in pink. Like the singer and her mother who have a strong and very close relationship, the mommy-to-be wanted the same for her new child.

Now that she knows the sex, according to the source, she’s shopping wildly for future diva clothes designed by Gucci and Louis Vuiton.

“Her family’s afraid there won’t be anything left to buy for her baby shower in December!” the source claimed.

But that’s not even the half of it. Baby B will have a 2,000 square foot nursery (bigger than some family homes), equipped with a gilded crib and diamond-encrusted baby monitor.

*Jay Z has recruited singer Trey Songz to serve as the face of Rocawear’s new men’s fragrance, Evolution.

The scent is a joint venture between Jay Z’s company and Elizabeth Arden, according to a statement.

“Progression is key in all aspects of life, especially in your growth as a man,” Songz says. “Rocawear Evolution is for the man that understands the importance of honoring the past, but is confident enough to create and design his own future. I’m proud to personify that message.”

Jay Z is certain he has picked the right man for the job, adding, “We are excited to have Trey as the face of our new fragrance. He opened for me on the Blue Print 3 Tour to venues full of screaming women. He is the perfect person to communicate Evolution.”

Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV Sets New iTunes Single Week Sales Record

It was just three weeks ago that Jay-Z and Kanye West set a new record for the highest one week sales of an album ever at iTunes.

Now Lil Wayne has come along and in just the first four days of sales for Tha Carter IV he has smashed that record. He sold over 300,000 copies in just those first four days which easily outpaces the 290,000 record.

Early prognostications for total first week sales of Tha Carter IVwere 700,000. Now the best guesses are over 850,000 and some as high as 950,000.

If those projections are accurate that means the album will have the biggest first week sales of any hip hop album or album by a male solo artist since Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III sold just over one million copies in its first week of release back in 2008.

Lil Wayne is also looking very strong on the iTunes single sales chart with four tracks from Tha Carter IV inside the top 30 and eight tracks from the album in the overall top 100.

The album contains his highest charting singles on the Billboard Hot 100 since 2008. "How To Love" and "She Will" are his first top 5 hits since "Lollipop" went all the way to #1.

Beyonce revealed her baby bump on the VMA black carpet before debuting it during her live performance.

According to MTV News, Beyonce and Jay-Z, real name, Shawn Carter, found the announcement was freeing because it was hard to keep the big news a secret.

After Beyonce finished her performance, the 29-year-old was greeted by hugs and well-wishers backstage. There, the singer said, “I’m free. We’re all free.”

Soon enough she was joined by her husband, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and Kanye West, who couldn’t wait to congratulate Beyonce with a hug.

Meanwhile... *Deadline.com’s Nikki Finke is reporting that Beyonce’s pregnancy may affect production on her upcoming film — ironically, a remake of “A Star is Born.”

We’ve learned that Warner Bros was hoping to start production on Clint Eastwood’s musical remake of A Star Is Born as early as February 2012.

But now insiders tell us it “could push” because Beyoncé announced her pregnancy at MTV’s VMAs.

That will give the studio more time to settle on a male co-star for the singer/actress since Eastwood’s first choice, Leonardo DiCaprio, isn’t doing the pic.

The project, which has been at WB for several years, has generated talk of pairing Beyoncé with Will Smith and with Christian Bale and with lots of other leading men. Beyoncé and Jay-Z wed in April 2008: he’s a good actor so I say give him the role.

Former Destiny's Child divas are working together again, this time Beyonce will help Kelly Rowland select the contestants on the X Factor

"Motivation" singer Kelly Rowland will have Beyonce join her in the judges house in order to sift through talented musicians and identify the best candidates for the next stage of the television show.

In regards to fellow judges on the X Factor UK including, Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh, and Tulisa Contostavlos, it is unknown whom will assist them in their decisions at the judges house.

After Destiny's Child bandmate Beyoncé revealed she and husband Jay-Z. are expecting their first child at the MTV VMA awards show, Kelly Rowland, commented, she was destined to have a child, and she'll be wonderful at it.

"I have known for quite a while, and she's happy, and Jay is happy, and that's all that counts," Rowland, 30, told PEOPLE Sunday at the House of Hype VMAs afterparty.

"I think she'll be an incredible mother, because she's always been motherly. I think that she takes after so many traits from her mother. And I just think it's going to be so natural for her. Its natural for her now!"

Now Kelly is enjoying her biggest success as a solo artist with the hit single “Motivation,” which she showed off with a provocative VIBE cover shoot and performance at this year’s BET Awards, and continues to float above the swirl of rumors that have dogged her since the early days of Destiny’s Child.

*No, Mathew Knowles is not her father.

*No, she’s not jealous of Beyoncé.

Video: Kanye, Jay-Z to Auction ‘Otis’ Maybach for Drought Relief in Africa

*The Maybach luxury vehicle that Kanye West and Jay Z had customized for their new “Otis” video will be auctioned off to aid East African drought relief efforts.

In the clip, the two rappers chop up the car, turning it into a vehicle with an open top and sides that they use to take a group of girls around on a joy ride. [Watch below.]

The clip closes with the message, “The vehicle used in this visual will be offered up for auction. Proceeds will be donated towards The East African Drought Disaster.”

Meanwhile, Jay Z is also raising money for cancer research by donating a portion of proceeds from his merchandise sales to charity.

Jigga is encouraging his fans to buy a special edition white T-shirt, emblazoned with lyrics from his remix of Kanye West’s single “Power,” to benefit the City of Hope organization.

The singer shared with Access Hollywood that she would like to have kids before she reaches the golden age of 40.
“Before I hit the age of 40, I’d love to have some children. I would love to direct, continue to learn videos and maybe by then a film, short film or documentary. I love documentaries. I just hope that I’m happy and into my children, well adjusted and still making music if that makes me happy at that time.”
The twenty nine year-old Grammy winner also talked about shooting the video “Best Thing I Never Had.” In the video, she walks down the isle to marry some guy. She said it was a little strange having to replace her husband for the shoot.
“It was a little strange and when I walked down the aisle I was like ‘This is kind of creepy. It’s some other man standing here.’ It was really beautiful and people were all really excited like it was really my wedding. My mother was even like “Aww.” I’m like “Mom, it’s a video this is not my dress, this is not the real wedding but I think it’s just one of those moments that every woman kind of fantasizes and relives.”

In a recent interview, Jay-Z revealed that his aim for the third and final Blueprint album was, well, to "set the blueprint" for the next phase of his career.

However, after the dream team urban pop collaboration that was 'Run This Town', an anthemic ode to his native New York in the form of 'Empire State Of Mind', and some Mr Hudson-assisted musings on staying 'Young Forever', it's only until now that Jigga's mission for The Blueprint 3 is fully realised.


'On To The Next One' sees him up with Swizz Beatz, who pitches in on vocals as well as fulfilling knob-twiddling duties.

Over pounding beats and a looped vocal sample from Justice's 'D.A.N.C.E', Mr Beyoncé firmly reminds us why he's leader of the hip-hop pack: "N***az stuck on stupid / I gotta keep it movin' / N***az make the same sh*t / Me, I make the Blueprints."

While it may not be his most radio-friendly moment, this certainly proves that Hova has no intention whatsoever of relinquishing his King of Rap crown.

Fans attending the Coachella Music & Arts Festival this weekend may be in for a surprise as word has it Jay-Z will be bringing out Dr. Dre during his set. According to the rumor mill, Jay and Dre will perform their latest collaboration 'Under Pressure' which is said to be the lead single off the super producer's long awaited 'Detox' album.

At this point any news surrounding Dre and his 'Detox' album is hard to believe until it actually happens. The 'Detox' single was to emerge last week, according to Dre himself. And, although sources close to the Compton native's label, Aftermath Records, revealed that he will indeed hit the main stage with Jiggaman on April 16, there has been no confirmation (or denial) from either party.

As previously reported, the Brooklyn MC will co-headline the three-day festival, along with Muse and Gorillaz, which takes place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Other big names slated to perform include... De La Soul, Wale, and B.O.B.

Jay-Z was the first rap artist to headline Britain’s Glastonbury Festival in 2008 and he will make history once again next Friday when he becomes the first solo hip-hop act to top the bill at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.

But Jay wasn’t always able to command a stage. He opens up about the rapper who indirectly encouraged him to become a better performer and the artists who’ve influenced his on-stage evolution.

“In hip-hop, there’s not many great performers, I look outside the genre, measuring myself against others. I look at Madonna’s production and envy that. Daft Punk’s set, I’m like, what the… And I look at the way U2 can command an audience. Bono’s a performer pretty much like I am. He’s not a dancer; he’s not jumping around. He’s having a conversation. He’s using his stillness as movement.”


The hip-hop heavyweight was modest when talking about his early stage presence. “All my early years? Forget it. I was a horrible performer,” he admitted, realizing that he needed to up his game when touring with DMX in 1999. “DMX tore me to pieces. I remember being stunned.”

It was then Jay knew that he had to raise the bar. “[DMX] had me really working. But I had to figure this out,” he explained. “If you want to be a headliner, you better put on a headline show.”

Now well adjusted to playing sold-out arenas, Mr. Carter is looking forward to his next headlining gig at Coachella in Indio, Calif. “There’s nothing like seeing 100,000 diamonds.”

It looks like Jay-Z is really trying to be a good husband to Beyonce, as he's reportedly teaching her how to drive. According to The Sun, he's giving her lessons behind the wheel:

According to their source, "Jay and Bey normally go out mid-morning when it's quiet. Their bodyguards are always in tow but they never ride in the car with them."

In regards to what kind of car Bey's gonna get their source also said, Beyonce is doing so well Jay is already eyeing up motors for her for when she passes.

Jay-Z has his eye on a flashy Bentley but she wants something a little more sensible. "Beyonce wants something smaller and less pimpy.
