All eyes were on the world’s most famous couple of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt as they appeared at the 2012 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala on Saturday, January 7. The 48-year-old actor was spotted walking with the help of a cane on the red carpet of the event in which he was honored with the Desert Palm Achievement Award for his work in blockbusters Moneyball and The Tree of Life. He was also accompanied by his wife Angelina Jolie at the event held at the Palm Springs Convention Center in Palm Springs, California.

Although the Brad Pitt had his stick by his side, the star needed some help to walk down the red carpet. Brad, who carried a cane during the festivities, shared about the reason behind his new pal, saying that he injured himself when he wiped out on a ski slope while carrying his daughter Vivienne down the hill.

Angelina Jolie also said about the accident of her husband: “Everyone's fine. I think all parents get injured in the line of fire! When Maddox was young, I fell and hurt my elbow. It's a pretty common occurrence.” Brad Pitt’s unexpected injury couldn’t slow down these busy parents. The Jolie-Pitt family celebrated the seventh birthday of their child Zahara on Sunday.

The Moneyball star looked elegant in a smart black suit and tie with a crisp white shirt, while Angelina looked gorgeous by his side in a cafe latte colored silk chiffon pleated Elie Saab halter gown. Brad Pitt and Son Pax’s Motorcycle Ride for Shopping (Pictures)

Hollywood actor Brad Pitt, who is known for his love of the vehicles, and his 8-year-old son Pax were pictured riding a motorcycle on Saturday, December 31, and shopping at Gelson's Market in Los Feliz, California. Movie star papa Brad Pitt has previously ridden a lot of cool bikes, but the one he selected on Saturday was quite different. It was a black Russian Ural Tourist motorbike that he was accompanied by his son Pax in a sidecar.

Besides dressing in jackets and sneakers for their adventure, the father and son duo also wore helmets in order to keep them stay safe before riding away on the Moneyball star's motorcycle. The Vietnamese child looked excited as he jumped and relaxed in the sidecar and his father drove off from Gelson's Market, where they had stopped to pick up some groceries in preparation for their New Year's Eve celebration.

Brad Pitt used to fall off his favorite motorbike in October, 2009 after trying to weave through traffic in Los Angeles. However, the actor is clearly telling his children about the mode of transport at a young age. His wife Angelina Jolie also said that “Brad is the real rider. He's really good.”

Although Brad Pitt’s five other children with his wife Angelina Jolie, including Maddox, 10, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 5, and 3-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne couldn’t be seen, it’s no doubt that they will have their turns in the future.

The world most mentioned family celebrated Christmas and the Moneyball star’s 48th birthday on December 18th in California together, where his sweetheart Angelina Jolie revealed that a waterfall - with surrounding land was the Christmas and birthday present for the actor.
