This musical couple really know how to gather attention not only through their music but through the artful clothes they display. Though rather mundance items if they stand alone (except Swizz's purple blazer and tie combo), Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz made their outfits spring forth at the 2012 Grammys.
A. Keys went for a black pencil dress with padded shoulders and bold gold neck jewelry and clear/black cap toe ankle strap pumps, and the cherry on top was her sky-high, Bruno Mars-style hair. Loved it, it caught my attention, I even WANTED it! Uhh--- let's move on....
Swizz Beatz's jacket and bowtie combo was a BANGER! 'Nuf said. Both easily were one of the he night.
It's always interesting to see what rappers do on their off-days. Check out Swizz Beatz, Alicia Keys, and son Egypt on vacation in Hawaii, and you can see Swizz Beatz for yourself...
Swizz has shaved his head bald (but you can see the hair growing back) and is wearing pink shorts. Tryin' to get that whole Hawaiian, tropical vibe huh?
But anyway, it is cool to see a rapper in such a HARD, tough-as-nails environment and being lightyears away into their own 'softer' fashion sense, while still being 'masculine.'
A couple days ago, Alicia Keys, husband Swizz Beatz, and son Egypt were spotted at the New York Knicks game wearing black sneakers. Swizz was wearing Reebook Kamikaze sneakers and I'm not sure what brand Egypt was wearing but LIL' FELLA was looking good with his nu-nu!
But the eye-catcher was Alicia's Isabel Marant Willow high-top sneakers for $760. It looks like a sneaker but actually conceals a 3.5 inch wedge heel on the inside sole. See a closer look.

Some people wondered what ever happened to a Beyonce/Alicia Keys duo??
It is now believed that the music video from their 'Put It In A Love Song' single will be released sometime around Beyonce's 2011 album release; I strongly believe that's the reason the music video was on a 1-YEAR HOLD.
For now, just check out the screen shot above; that's all they're giving fans to work with and get a glimpse of this seemingly fun and very FESTIVE occasion of a video... or it could be SULTRY. Not much to go by, but I like the use of the GOLD and FEATHERS. Gold and feathers-- did I just say that?
Bringing this day to a close, I want to put out pictures of Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz lookin' mighty sharp at the basketball game. I have to say that this was an astounding caliber of swag. There are so many people of style in this world, but I had to make a hard choice as to who should go onto my blog posts. The reason is because THIS WEEKEND, I AM MAKING POSTS OF NOTABLE PEOPLE OF STYLE THIS YEAR. So I just picked a few people, only eight people in the mix--music artists, bloggers, models, etc.-- who really stood out:

Fonzworth Bentley, former host of "From Gs to Gents," has an "OMG" contagious style I just can't stop following. The style is always spot-on. I was trying to find more pictures, but Bentley kind of went off the radar for a minute. Did the best though... see the pics and video from GIANT Magazine photo shoot below:
Kanye West
I'm not going to get into the music and all that, just straight-up fashion. Kanye West the so-called "douche bag" has been highlighting fashion blogs, print, media, and fashion shows for years now. He has a penchant for high-end clothes, collaborating with other designers, and showing off without care. His pioneering style goes far beyond just his music, and is copied by fashionistas worldwide; Kanye's style is hott, though. It's otherwordly, another realm of time, a cross between futuristic and Harlem Renaissance times. Take a look at the following pics.
