To celebrate the Oscar on the next Sunday, I will show you all my favorite Oscar dresses from the past. Enjoy this post! :D

Evan Rachel Wood in Elie Saab (2010)

She looks ethereal, breathtaking, and dare I say...vampiric.

Hilary Swank in Guy Laroche (2005)

What a million dollar body, this dress is considered one of the most iconic dress at Oscar history.

Julia Roberts in Valentino (2001)

Again, one of the most iconic dress at Oscar history.

Angelina Jolie in Mark Bower (2005)

She looks like a goddess! very sexy, dangerous, but classy at the same time.

Cate Blanchett in Valentino Couture (2005)

Blanchett's dress required:

•Ten seamstresses

•Nearly three weeks of eight-hour days, not counting fittings

•Eleven yards of silk taffeta used for couture

•Delivery by a trusted courier, "the one person Mr. Valentino approved, " says spokesman Carlos deSouza

•A large brooch, as per the designer (Blanchett choose an emerald-and-diamond piece by Lorraine Schwartz valued at $65,0000)

Penelope Cruz in Atelier Versace (2007)

Donatella Versace decided to chose only one person to wore her dress at Oscar 2007. This is huge deal!

Uma Thurman in Versace (2006)

Dangerous curve in silky and feminine gown. Seductive, lush and light.

Carey Mulligan in Prada (2010)

The forks and spoons detailing at the top are really quirky but turn out to be so pretty.

Charlize Theron in John Galliano for Dior (2005)

How long it takes to make all the ruffles?

Anne Hathaway in Armani Prive (2009)

She looks so regal...very elegant and glamorous.

Cameron Diaz in Oscar De La Renta (2010)

She's a stunner, her hair is relax, let the dress become the vocal attention.

Nicole Kidman in Balenciaga (2007)

Drop dead gorgeous! The bow screams attention!

Demi Moore in Atelier Versace (2010)

The dress reminds me of a cream colored blossoming rose , very delicate and beautiful.

Michelle Williams in Vera Wang (2006)

One of her best look. Very fun and very fllirty.

Rachel Weitz in Vera Wang (2007)

Silky, shiny, pretty, very old Hollywood glamour.

Charlize Theron in Gucci (2004)

With a body like that you can wear the most curve hugging dress that is ever made.

Salma Hayek in Versace (2006)

The color looks so beautiful and this dress fits her body perfectly. Salma looks gorgeous.

Marion Cotillard in Jean Paul Gaultier (2008)

Mermaid...she's a beautiful mermaid.

Cameron Diaz in Prada (2003)

Simple can make a statement.

Gwyneth Paltrow in Zac Posen (2007)

The pleats detailing give this dress a one of a kind look.

Kate Winslet in Yves Saint Laurent (2009)

Elegant and Oscar worthy.

Keira Knightley in Vera Wang (2007)

Keira rocks this one, the necklace ties the look together.

Jennifer Lopez in Valentino (2003)

One shoulder and loose, never saw something like this before at Oscar red carpet.

Marion Cotillard in Dior Haute Couture (2009)

Unique and striking.
