Selena Gomez looked a little bit sleepy as she was captured walking at LAX on Saturday moning, January 21, 2012. However, the 19-year-old songstress has acceptable reasons to be tired. Miss Gomez had decided to use her fame in order to raise money for charity . And on Friday night, the singer appeared on the stage of the Annual Charity Concert To Benefit UNICEF at House of Blues Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California as a host.

Aim to help other pitiful people, Selena Gomez and other celebrities raised more than $200,000 to benefit UNICEF and children in need. During the event on January 20, 2012, Gomez turned out to entertain concertgoers by performing a series of her hit tunes, including “Bang Bang Bang,” “When the Sun Goes Down” and “Love You Like a Love Song”.

Besides those hits, Justin Bieber’s girlfriend performed Miranda Lambert's "The House That Built Me,” to dedicate to her mother, who recently suffered a miscarriage. "My mom couldn't be here today. I know these songs are gonna be on Youtube, so mom this one's for you!" Selena said. The “Who Says” singer also sang Jason Mraz's "I Won't Give Up" during the UNICEF Charity Concert.

Selena Gomez said that the UNICEF Charity Concert on Friday night was one of the shows she looked forward to the most and couldn’t wait for the show next year. She also thanked attendees who came out to the show and revealed that the organization are helping to save the lives of children from all over the world.
