Former American Idol champion Fantasia Barrino has given birth to her first son.
The 27-year-old singer - who already has 10-year-old daughter Zion - delivered Dallas Xavier, two weeks ahead of her due date.

Dallas weighed in at a healthy 7 lbs 9 oz. Speaking about the happy news, Fantasia told People magazine: 'I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family.
'I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support.'
Fantasia announced she was pregnant back in August while performing at a charity concert - although didn't confirm who the father was.
Speaking to fans at the opening of the Riverview Apartments in Jacksonville, Florida, she told them: 'You are the first persons that I share this news with. And I share this with you because I can relate to you.

'And for a while I walked around figuring out what will they say and what will they think about me. But now I tell you I don’t live my life for folk.
'This child that I’m carrying, God has given me this child. And I don’t have to hide it from none of y’all.'
Fantasia was crowned the winner of Idol back in 2004.
In November 2010, Fantasia was said to have confessed during a child custody case between Cook and Paula that she fell pregnant with a baby with Cook but had an abortion.
In February this year, Fantasia was forced to deny rumours she was pregnant after she gained weight for a movie role.
The singer was apparently aiming to put on between 30 and 45lbs to play Mahalia Jackson, an African-American gospel singer, before she started shooting the movie in April.
