And The Bad Timing Award Goes To Levi's Riot Commercial...

Given the rather desperate situation in the UK at the moment, you might have thought it would be a rather risky time to use riot imagery as part of your new European advertising campaign.
But Levi's clearly does not share our squeamishness. Otherwise the denim brand would have delayed releasing its latest commercial, Legacy, which romantises youthful rebellion.
Uploaded yesterday, the ad shows images of youngsters marching and even challenging riot police. There are also a few shots of things on fire.
Obviously, there is no way that agency Wieden+Kennedy, in Portland, could have predicted what was to happen when they made the ad. But, again, shouldn't Levi's have delayed its release?
UPDATE: Levi's has decided to postpone the ad's UK release.
